Binatone Lifestyle 1910 Single DECT Phone, its actually very good

Simple but effective product but with a weak microphone. This telephone is easy to install and to set up. The only criticism is that those called or calling in will find hearing you difficult as your voice at their end will be very quiet. I had several complaints about this so i tried calling in to the phone recently and have to agree.

This phone has everything i need but the major let down is the very short ring time even set on the longest ring setting.

Instructions for set up far too complicated. I had to email the firm to find how to extend the length of time the phone rang for me to answer. This was the easiest part of the process as they did respond immediately with instructions even i could follow.

Product is excellent but the reading of the instructions was not as clear as i would have hoped.

Phonesgreat arrived next day only problem at the moment trying to get phonesring on incoming calls any help wouldbegood.

    Reason i didnt give a 5 star is that you need to make sure that the phone is put back correctly on the base after use otherwise you will run out of charge. I did this and learned very quickly to be more careful.

    There is nothing wrong with this phone but i bought it to replace a hand set i wanted a hands free phone as i have bad legs and find that by the time i get to the phone the caller has rung off, the only thing against it is the lack of plugs in my room i was hoping i would not need one.

    This model of phone is used by a relative as their only answerphone and as a second phone for use in the garden. It’s cheap and reported as being ok to use, but their experience is that they only last an average of about 3 years before the charging base unit fails, although the handsets themselves last a lot longer. Other brands may well be more reliable, but my relative doesn’t like change, so carries-on with this one that they know how to operate.

    1. Good value for price compared with alternatives. . Two little niggles: it is difficult to see when you have a message, the limited number of keys means that setting it up (date etc.
