BT 4600 Big Button Advanced Call Blocker Cordless Home Phone, Some time needed to set up properly

I am very pleased with this purchase. I am very pleased with this purchase, more so since i saw the exact same set for sale in a supermarket priced at £65.

And the amplification is great. I also have arthritis and the bigger phone. My old phones were showing their age, the bt big button phones are just what i wanted. I have hearing loss, and the amplification is great. I also have arthritis and the bigger phone means it is easier to hold. My husband is impressed, as well, win win all the way.

Easy to set-up and easy to use, but. Easy to set-up and easy to use, but, to me, the plastics look and feel rather cheap. Five months after originally buying, i have returned the set to amazon. For unknown reasons, the base unit, on two occasions, just stopped working – no outgoing calls could be made, and anyone trying to ring in got a number unobtainable tone – until it was reset by unplugging and plugging in again. The first time, it was just one of those things, but a second time and its a problem. Amazon have very promptly sent me a replacement, which i hope will be reliable. Updatethe replacement equipment has been in use for three months now, and has functioned perfectly.

We really are very pleased with this big button phone very simple to set up and use the call blocker works well as so does the hands free and with the addition of a very loud ring tone and easy to use answer machine i would highly recommend.

Great ideas in style and use. Its stopped all my calls, nobody rings now as tbey dont like telling a machine their name to be put through. Also to use hands free you have to dial whilst it stands on the base then oress hands free. If you pick up then dial, function doesnt work.

BT 4600 Big Button Advanced Call Blocker Cordless Home Phone with Answer Machine (Trio Handset Pack) : Had these before for dad lasted about 2 years he is a bit heavy handed so may have lasted longer in right hands. Otherwise easy to use, large buttons but we live in hull so have own telephone system so cannot use blocking of calls.

Never had a silent call since installing this phone, you can tell they’ve rung as it displays every call and dialled call, but doesn’t annoyingly ring out when they have, so no more rushing to the phone and no one there. You can put your friends and family numbers in the directory and they can call straight through, but numbers not in directory have to go through an operator and leave a message to say who they are, and then you press 1 to allow the call, and you can block numbers that call you that you don’t want bothering with. Very easy to use, comes 5* from me, oh and bonus answer machine in it as well.
