BT 6600 Nuisance Call Blocker Cordless Home Phone, Could be a lot better

I brought it for the do not disturb feature,. I brought it for the do not disturb feature, however it takes about 5 steps to switch the feature on, and after a long night shift, all i want to do is push one button and go to bed.

A good buy, peace reigns once again. I’ve had this phone for a couple of weeks now so feel that has been a good period to find out how effective it is. I loaded all previous numbers from my phone list – that took a while. And saved them so they wouldn’t be blocked. I then blocked all the usual suspects and so far it has worked. There have been a few that have got through that i check when i’ve been out by going online and putting in the number in an online search and surprise, surprise many of them were scammers of some sort, but they are easy to individually block. So from umpteen phone calls that we ignored when we didn’t recognise the number, peace reigns. I’ve only given it a 4* as there are a few aspects of changing things that could be better; easy to change ring tone but not to change the number of rings before the answer phone. It’s reasonably easy to set up but does take a couple of days as you need to wait until the first phone has charged before adding in the others. But generally, yes this is great phone that absolutely does the job.

    1. Really good, you do have to have caller display with you service provider for the blocking to work.

    Triple phones are 3 times as good. . Gr8 phones, look good, service excellent, reasonable delivery time, would definitely use again.

    1. Ideal for call blocking made simple. The only issue i have and that of my son and two friends, is that the second set does not ring out and you can often miss a call, the only indication is that the screen lights up. Checked settings several times and to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this problem and been able to resolve it.

    1. Good phone works very well and is easy to set up, the call blocker feature has stopped all my nuisance calls and it can be set to refuse different types of calls. Ie unknown,international,pay phone and can block area codes. Seems to be well made and is pleasing to the eye. Although i purchased the single unit, other hand sets can be added.

    Mildly disappointed, not so much with the product but the. Mildly disappointed, not so much with the product but the fact in order to use it to it’s full potential i have to subscribe with my telephone service provider.

    Good buy for a quad set of phones. Very happy with these phones. They look good, hold 200 contact records, are easy to use and programme and call blocking is a good feature too.
