Doro PhoneEasy 100W Single DECT Cordless Phone : Ideal for senior user

Great product for those needing large button cordless phone. Had already purchased the doro duo 100w phones from amazon a couple of years ago, and recently decided i needed another for the upstairs bedroom. Registering it to the existing base was an absolute doddle, no fuss, it just did what it said in the instructions. Great product for those needing a large button phone with some amplification for the hard of hearing.

No louder than our standard phone.

Would highly recommend this product. I first saw this phone in the rnib catalogue but at double the price. I bought this for elderly parents so they could have the phone next to where they normally sit. Dad’s hard of hearing and registered blind and mum’s easily confused but i am happy to report that dad can hear perfectly even without his earing aids as i’ve set the volume up high and it has large buttons so he is quite happy with it. Once mum remembered that this phone has their old phone number she appears to be coping with it very well. This has been perfect for the purpose it was bought for.

It would be great if the ‘loud mode’ would remain. It would be great if the ‘loud mode’ would remain, bought this for hard of hearing elders, you have to press the boost button for extra volume every call – would be better if it stayed on.

Bought for my mum who is getting on, it works quite well and the big buttons are a boon for her, the only downside is the boost button on the side, it is fiddly and not easy to use if you want to increase volume when on the phone, plus whilst i got her a two phone pack if you wanted to add another it does not seem possible according to the dorohandbook/website.

    1. Phones for those hard of hearing. Gave this to an elderly relative who has hearing and hand coordination problems. Learned to press green button twice and chats on the loudspeaker setting with the phone on her lap. Very loud and clear- excellent.

    I love doro phones and this is probably the 3rd i’ve bought. This one was for my parents who have difficulty in seeing small screens and need good volume control needless to say they are thrilled with it.

    Bought for 89year old father, he is very pleased with it, we are all pleased that he can hear us without resorting to loud speaker and crackles.
