Panasonic KX-TGDA30 Additional Handset, Love these phones

The connectors on the bottom of the phone are better than my old ones. The phones work, but don’t have the versatitlity i thought they might have. The display is grey, my old siemens was in colour and you could have a constant scroll of views on the display. I find i have to refer to the manual every time to find what i am alooking for. The directory is just a number and name, whereas on my old phone i could select an avatar which could be seen from across the room. The volume of the ring-tone is far too low and very few sensible selections. The storage of cold calls is limited to 50. This is about 950 short of what is needed these days. The connectors on the bottom of the phone are better than my old ones.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and is very easy to use. If ever needed would buy another one just like it. Would advise friends to buy this phone if asked.

Excellent telephone set, great value for money.

The speaker function is great. Bought this for my parents who have hearing difficulties. The speaker function is great.

Like the eco aspect to save on batteries. Very pleased with these phones.

    Very pleased with this purchase. Very pleased with this purchase. I have had phones before that sounded quite “tinny” but this is very good quality.     Better stand for the base phone. Display is old fashioned, which is fair enough at this price, and the many available ring tones are old fashioned too, again, same conclusion. They work great, and we got them because our other, older panasonic phones are beginning to fail. First one of them -we have two and have replaced with two- lost the volume on the green button -as opposed to speaker phone- and, well, they are getting very tired after 6 years of use. The answer phone display clearly does not show how many messages may be waiting, but it’s all good.

    1. I bought these to replace some awful gigaset phones we have been unfortunate to have been using for the last few years. Going back to panasonic was lovely. They have always made good phones. The sound quality of these phones is excellent, crisp and clear for the most part. They look stylish and sleek and feel nice to hold for extended periods of time. As far as features go, they have everything you really need for a landline these days. They don’t have a colour screen however i’ve never fully seen the point of that on a dect phone system. Plenty of ring tones to choose from… you can customise tones to a particular caller number if you wish. The base station is nice looking with a pretty small footprint and easy to use (and understand) controls.

    I bought these to replace some awful gigaset phones we have been unfortunate to have been using for the last few years. Going back to panasonic was lovely. They have always made good phones. The sound quality of these phones is excellent, crisp and clear for the most part. They look stylish and sleek and feel nice to hold for extended periods of time.     1. Working well three weeks after delivery and set up. Very easy to connect and smooth interface between handsets. Slight niggle is the no auto answer on pick up.
