Panasonic KX-TGH222 Digital Cordless Phone, panasonic double phone

Panasonic phone (kx-tgh222) very good purchase. . Phones are easy to setup, transferring contacts from old phone to new is a tiresome job but the phone(s) are performing very well so far. Very clear and volume is good.

Ok item, hearing volume could be better.

Good, affordable cordless phone and answering machine. The best thing about this phone is its display. It’s very bright and colourful and almost looks like an oled display, which i’m sure it’s not. The handset feels quite nice and its user interface is well thought out and simple to use. The only thing i’ve found is that the ringer takes longer to start ringing when the eco mode is switched on. I also wish panasonic would find some way of making handsets without huge seams or grooves in them that end up, over time, filling up with dust and grime; these grooves are hard to clean properly. The base is a bit lightweight without the phone in it, though it’s not a big issue for me. The answering machine works fine. If you have caller id you can block incoming numbers, though the block list is limited to 50 entries (this is a big improvement on the 20 entries panasonic sometimes gives you). Overall, this is a very good digital cordless phone and answering machine, especially considering the low price tag.

Bought these to replace a set that were about seven years old. Worked straight out of the box and the biggest plus for us is that the contacts are shared automatically.

    Cordless digital phone i had one of these before only one set so invested in another set because i needed both to connect i cant use the other one with it so its going spare but very good has a lot of different ring tones to choose from, but if you don’t have a baby “as it has a baby monitor” then you wont be using it.

    Could be simpler to set up… but happy with new model. Replacement panasonic phones for previous model which we have had for around ten years. Fairly easy to set up but so much info to take in. It also takes a while to find the number you want as scrolling for names/numbers is a bit slower than old phone but still happy after a few day of use.

    Super phone, i use it on a cosmote/greece pstn. Super phone, i use it on a cosmote/greece pstn line. I can show caller id when you talk to another line and you have on hold new incoming call. Of course intercom can be used.

      1. Very nice telephone, the only criticism i have is that the ring volume isn’t very loud. I love how it has an audible alert for voicemail so i don’t need to check the phone when comming home from work. Very easy to set up and use and the screen is a good size.

    Very nice telephone, the only criticism i have is that the ring volume isn’t very loud. I love how it has an audible alert for voicemail so i don’t need to check the phone when comming home from work. Very easy to set up and use and the screen is a good size.

    Love these phones but have now decided i could do. Love these phones but have now decided i could do with one upstairs too are extra handsets available to but separately.

I brought these to replace a previous panasonic telephone/answering machine that after 12 years refused to accept charge even if the batteries were changed. I hope this will be as reliable and trouble free as my old unit and other panasonic products.
