Philips XL3752B/05 Cordless Twin Phone, Disapointing that it was pre-openned or used

Nicely styled and comfortable to handle. They have lots of useful features such as a tinkle tone when i have a text message. I sometimes wonder if they are too ‘intelligent’.Station to station intercom is useful too. Big buttons and a bright display make the phones easy to use. Good all round and not too expensive. No regrets and wish i had replaced my old phone years ago.

Disapointing that it was pre-openned or used. I couldn’t believe it when i openned this package, it was either used before or openned and played with because the booklet was shoved in there and a corner of the page turned down, it had been thumbed through. The phone isn’t very clear, people have to ask me to speak up. But then what do you expect for the price. A bit disapointing about the fact that it wasn’t really brand brand new packaging.

Does what it says it will – fairly easy to set up once you understand the process. Took maximum time to arrive.

Very pleased with the product. And found that all information relating to the phone and its benifits were first class.

    1. Easy to use cordless phones. We purchased these after reading the which report on cordless phones. This was which’s third placed “best buy”, but reviews in other forums did not rate the first two “best buys” very highly. The handsets feel solid and strong, and the keys and screen are clear and easy to read. Sometimes the clarity of the speaker is not good, and i am not sure why that is, because at other times it is ok. The instructions are easy to read and follow, but i did have difficulty setting the date as i hadn’t realised it was on the default mm/dd/yy option rather than dd/mm/yy. There is a pre-recorded message in case you don’t want to record your own. We haven’t used all the functions yet, but so far it’s proved to be a good buy.

    This phone set came very prompt, a bit dubious at the time of ordering as i have had some pretty dodgy phone sets in the past but this one has surpassed all my doubts, it is remarkably easy to set up and is a doddle to use with a good clear ringtone and large buttons.

    I have always liked philips phone and this is the best one i have had. My wife needs hearing aid compatibly and this one works fine. I would recommend it to anybody. The large buttons are a boon.

    I have now had the philip’s twin handsets for a few weeks. They are well designed phones with good sized buttons, easy to set up and use and with good clarity of speech. The ansaphone works well and the phone number memory is simple to use when adding new numbers or for searching for people who have been added previously. When the phone is placed in the cradle, a two tone note sounds to let you know that the phone is properly placed. You can also listen to recorded messages on either phone.
